"Question and Answer"

"Who Got the Highest One-year Sales for a book Series"

She may not have real magic, but her writing ability sure is magical. Joanne Kathleen Rowling, better known as J.K. Rowling, wrote the phenomenal book series Harry Potter. For someone who wrote her first book when she was six, J.K Rowling is definitely someone who has gone such along way.
She wrote the first Harry Potter book when she was 26 in a café while her young daughter took naps beside her. After completing the manuscript, she went to different publishers, but many of them rejected her. She finally sold the book for a very small amount. And before she knew it, she was suddenly one of Britain's richest women. In the year 2000, the first three Harry Potter Books sold over 35 million copies in 35 languages, which amounted to about $480 million. The fourth book, Goblet of Fire, sold 5.1 million copies in just two days. And the rest, as they say, is History. Today, the world awaits the launch of the seventh and final installment with excitement.
